me: "Just a bit running and swimming..."
mom: "Oh good. Better keep it up. You want to fit in THE dress, don't you?"
me: "They make them in different sizes, mom."
mom: "Yeah, but don't you want to look good?"
FH: "At our wedding, can we have donuts instead of cake?"
me: "We'll talk about it when the time comes..."
FSIL: "Are you joking? Donuts! I will not allow that!"
FBIL: "What's wrong with that?"
