Boston 2011

Our last out of state trip for the year was to Boston.  Our officiant is one of Jerry's closest friends, and we had been saying that we'd visit her for years now.  Finally our schedules aligned and we were able to fly out!  (She travels most of the time for her job- basically wakes up in a different time zone every week!).  It was my third time to Boston and I've enjoyed each time.

Highlights:
El Paisa- we went here for a Colombian breakfast, it was so amazing.
If you're staying with friends, it's much cheaper to order your own lobsters and have a meal at home.
Spending quality time with friends.
Tax free shopping!
Walking around the Charles River. We lucked out with some nice weather!

Tips:
Go to Neptune Oyster before 7:30pm if you even want a chance to get seated.  Even though the restaurant closes 2 hours later, they might not even seat you at all, that's how crazy busy that place is.
MIT never seems to close its doors so you can wander around at 10pm at night and no one will even care!
Don't forget to use a Charlie Card instead of getting a regular fare tix!  It's cheaper for each ride.
Harvard is full of Chinese tourists.  Bus loads full of them!
Reagan Library > JFK Library.
Don't go to Faneuil Hall Market Place/Quincy Market if you don't like crowds.  Claustrophobic!  Also Freedom Trail on a weekend afternoon means lots of tourists.  Try to hit the cobblestone in the morning if you want your dose of history.
